Submitting your Application

Congratulations, you are now ready to submit your Stage One Application! This will be sent as an email to from the Lead Sponsor to the Home Office.

You will need to include:

• Completed Stage One Application Form
• Completed Property Offer Form
• A letter from your Local Authority with permission to apply
• Safeguarding Policy
• Proof that the Local Authority Safeguarding Board has approved your Policy - or that they don't wish to review it.*
• Proof that you have £3,000 ringfenced for the project**

*You can save & attach email correspondence

** If Citizens UK are your Lead Sponsor, we will ask to see a bank statement, unless we are still holding your funds. We will then issue a letter of confirmation.

Your core team will also need have attended Reset's Part One Training. You can book onto the training here.

What happens next?

1. The Home Office will review your application, and within a few weeks, you will be matched with a family.
2. You will be invited to attend a Pre-Approval Visit with the Home Office (this is a skype call during the pandemic), to assess your suitability as a group
3. You must reapply within 4 months : £9,000 raised, Stage Two Application, House & Complaints Policy in place.
4. The family's flights and visas are booked, and they arrive 6-8 weeks later.
