How to get help

We encourage you to seek support if you feel that you need it. This support can come in various forms:

  • In the first instance reach out the Citizens UK Community Organiser who nominated you for the training. They are there to support you as you complete this training - particularly about the Practical Placement and completing the Portfolio. It is worth speaking to them about how they can best do this. At the very least, they should meet with you regularly in the year following the residential training to mentor you through your placement and prepare with you to share your learning;
  • During the course you will be placed in a Learning Group and receive dedicated support from Learning Group tutors. More information on who your tutors are, and how to contact them, will be made available closer to the start date.
  • If you have a question about the Portfolio Tasks or other issues relating to the course itself, your learning needs or logistical/tech problems, please contact [email protected]. We will also hold check-ins over zoom in the run up to the course. Please join if you have any questions or concerns about using zoom, Teachable, or anything else:
